Changes to the 2026 Season
In an effort to maximize our rehearsal time and minimize travel for our students and parents, we have made the following changes to the schedule:

Rehearsal Nights will return to Tuesdays from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.

Rehearsals will take place on the following days:

Feb 17th – Regular Rehearsal
Mar 3rd – Regular Rehearsal

Saturday, April 18th
10:00 am – 6:00 pm: Rehearsal
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Dinner
7:00 pm: Concert

This is a hybrid honors band format. Students will need to commit to all five rehearsals. We hope that this format eliminates some of the travel burdens to our facilities.

Wachovia Winds is a youth Wind Ensemble available to all High School and Middle School Music Students. Students are selected by video audition or in person at the NW District Auditions.  The audition requirements are a selection from scale and solo  requirements for the student’s current level, as listed on the NCBA Northwest District website. (See our Audition Requirements page) or we can use your all district audition scores.  
If selected, students will participate in weekly rehearsals. Rehearsals will generally be at Davie High School on Yuesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM.
