Audition Requirements

1. ​ A major scale of your choosing
2. Chromatic scale  
3. A Portion of a prepared solo

The grade level appropriate solo from the district website will also be required:   Link to Materials ​

Students will be selected based on  the following:

• ​Characteristic Tone
• Steady Rhythm
• Technique

Audition Format

Auditions may be prerecorded on a device of the students choosing. Or you may find our table at the 2025 NW District Band Audition Jan Once complete students auditions are uploaded to the following google form for review.
